RVM Charity Pledge Program for CHOICES Adoption

Pledge drive to raise funds for children who need families and adoptive families who need support!
We need your help! CHOICES Adoption has been chosen as a recognized charity for the Royal Victoria Marathon (RVM) Charity Pledge Program. Our goal is to raise $15,000 in support of children who need permanent families and supporting adoptive families.
All proceeds from the Royal Victoria Marathon will go to Teen Adoption across BC and the Humanitarian Aid Fund with a focus on assisting orphanages in Nepal.

As a member of the CHOICES team we ask that you commit to raising $250 or more for CHOICES Adoption. In return for your efforts you'll receive:

CHOICES helps children from over 20 countries, and locally find families to grow up in. From infants to teens, there are so many children locally and around the world that need a permanent family. We work daily to make a difference for the life of a child through adoption.
Background on Royal Victoria Marathon - Charity Pledge Program
The Royal Victoria Marathon (RVM) is held annually in Victoria, British Columbia on Thanksgiving weekend; in 2009 the RVM will celebrate its 30th Anniversary. Runners from all over the country come to participate in the 42.2 km Marathon, the 21.1 km Half Marathon or the 8K Road Race. Other events include the Thrifty Foods Kids Marathon-Kids Run. The RVM is open to runners, walkers, wheelchair participants and kids; over 10,000 people participate.
Four years ago, the Victoria Marathon Society launched a charity pledge program inviting charities to market their cause to participants and their constituents offering them an opportunity to support their cause by raising per-mile pledges. Charities don’t have to organize the Event, but focus on promotion of the pledge program and working with the pledge collectors. This year, CHOICES Adoption has been chosen as one of the recognized charities for the pledge program.
