Married couples and single applicants can adopt from Vietnam. The adoptive parent must be 20 years older than the child. Adoptive applicants with or without children are accepted. Same sex couples are not eligible to adopt from Vietnam.
Both boys and girls are available for adoption and the majority are anywhere from newborn to one year of age. Adoption of older children is also possible.
